In this role, you will join a dedicated team of teachers in a highly regarded school. As the RT teacher, you will be responsible for delivering Religious Studies (RT) lessons to students. You will play a vital role in promoting an understanding of different cultures, religions, and ethical beliefs, and fostering respect and tolerance among students.
Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging and interactive RT lessons to students.
2. Develop and implement a well-structured curriculum that aligns with the school's objectives and educational standards.
3. Encourage student participation, critical thinking, and analytical skills within the subject area.
4. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular initiatives and projects.
6. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance.
7. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
8. Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and extracurricular activities.
9. Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies or a relevant subject area.
2. Relevant teaching experience in Religious Studies.
3. Deep knowledge and understanding of different religions, cultures, and ethical beliefs.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to engage and motivate students in learning.
6. Strong organizational and time management skills.
7. Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic educational environment.
8. A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with educational advancements.
