As the Year 6 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in preparing pupils for their transition to secondary school, supporting them academically, emotionally and socially during one of their most important primary years. You’ll deliver well-structured lessons, help pupils build confidence ahead of SATs, and create an environment where every child feels supported, challenged and ready to succeed.

What you need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Solid experience teaching in KS2 (Year 6 experience highly desirable)
Strong knowledge of the Upper KS2 curriculum and SATs preparation
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
Confident planning, delivering and assessing high-quality lessons
Desired Skills & Qualities:
Excellent behaviour management and a calm, supportive teaching style
Ability to inspire pupils through a key year of growth and transition
Strong communication skills with parents, staff and pupils
Organised, proactive and committed to raising attainment
