Production Team Leader – Full Time (Permanent)

Working hours: 5 days per week on a 2-week rotation – Week 1: Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Sun; Week 2: Mon–Fri. Average 35 hours per week, with overtime available during busy periods.
Starting Salary: £13.00 per hour (reviewed periodically based on performance and tenure).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support Shift Supervisors and take ownership of the Production Shift.
2. Ensure tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards.
3. Liaise with the production team, oversee quality control, communicate with management, and train team members.
4. Prepare and assemble high-quality, handmade food items following recipes.
5. Prepare ingredients following company guidelines.
6. Ensure all products meet standards for freshness, taste, and presentation.
7. Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment in compliance with food safety regulations.
8. Collaborate to meet production goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
9. Assist with inventory management and quality checks.
10. Support new product development and market opportunities.
11. Act as a brand ambassador and team leader in the shift.
Skills & Experience:
1. Experience in the food industry is essential.
2. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
3. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
4. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
5. Flexible availability, including weekends and bank holidays, and reliable attendance.
