Domestic Assistant - Thanet (part time role 8h)

Pilgrims Hospices is looking for a friendly, part time Domestic Assistant to join our team to help keep our hospice clean for all those who work, visit and stay at our Thanet hospice site.

The Role

Responsibilities

As a Domestic Assistant you will work as part of a team to ensure our hospice environment remains clean and pleasant. Your main responsibilities will include:

Various cleaning duties to a high standard
Replenishing washroom supplies
Basic record keeping
Reporting of any defects or damage found on our site
Safely disposing of waste
Attending team meetings

The post holder must ensure that cleaning is completed to a high standard, in line with standards expected within a healthcare environment.

Working Arrangements

This role is part-time (8 hrs per week) and will be based at Pilgrims Hospice Thanet. Working patterns will usually be two 4 hour shifts per week between Monday-Sunday with start times 7.30am or There is opportunity to work additional hours if interested. You will be provided with on-site parking, a uniform and subsidised meals during your work day.

Have a flexible attitude to work in a team rota, sometimes changing days as service requires
