Our central Shared Services team plays a vital role in supporting the success of every school within the Greenshaw Learning Trust. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance Manager to join our Trust‑wide team and contribute to our mission of delivering excellent, inclusive education.
About the Role
As a Finance Manager, you will provide expert oversight of the day‑to‑day operational delivery of our finance function. This is a key role in ensuring our schools can focus on teaching and learning, supported by strong and effective financial management.
We are recruiting at two levels
* Level 1 – focused on core operational delivery
* Level 2 – requiring advanced technical accounting expertise and risk management proficiency
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a large finance team, including Senior Finance Officers, Finance Officers, and Finance Assistants
* Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts for schools and shared service departments
* Ensure robust financial controls across procurement, banking, and accounting processes
* Prepare and submit statutory returns, including VAT and DfE submissions
* Support team development through mentoring, coaching, and structured progression pathways
