You will beconfident working on the telephone with members of the public. Some of the role will be phone based, as you will take incoming enquiries from the public, therefore you must be confident in answering the phone and have an excellent telephone manner. This role does not involve 'cold calling' and all training will be given to ensure you succeed.

As well as having administration experience, you will have IT skills and English and Maths GCSE Grade A-C / Grade 9-4 (or equivalent) and ideally an NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or Customer Service (or equivalent administration or customer service experience). Whilst administration skills are important, perhaps more importantly we want team members who reflect our values of respect, integrity and excellence when working for the individuals we support and providing excellent customer service.

In return we provide a supportive workplace where you will receive regular formal and informal support. We offer flexible working with a mix of office and home working – there would be a need to be in the office in Shire Hall, Gloucester for a minimum of two days a week once you've received sufficient training. We have free offsite car parking when working at Shire Hall.
