Conveyancing Secretary Conveyancing / Wills & Estates,East Belfast Overview A well-established law firm based in East Belfast is seeking a Conveyancing Secretary to join their Conveyancing, Wills & Estates department. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support a busy team of solicitors and legal executives while developing your skills in private client work and residential/commercial property transactions. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to solicitors within the Conveyancing, Wills & Estates team. Prepare and manage correspondence, letters of engagement, and client documentation. Draft and format legal documents, including contracts, deeds, wills, and estate planning paperwork. Manage solicitor diaries, appointments, and scheduling of client meetings. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and third parties to progress matters efficiently. Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with administrative and regulatory requirements. Assist with billing, file management, and other general office duties as required. Essential Skills and Experience Previous experience working as a legal secretary in private client or conveyancing departments is highly desirable. Strong typing, audio typing, and document preparation skills. Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and time management abilities. Confident client-facing manner with strong communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems; experience with conveyancing software is a plus.
