As a part of our highly diverse portfolio, Eaton is a leading manufacturer and a global supplier of high‑quality fire systems and devices. We now have an exciting new opening for an Electrical Field Service Engineer responsible for the commissioning, routine maintenance, and fault diagnosis/rectification on a wide range of emergency lighting systems. This position is remote and the candidates should be based ideally in West/North London area up to Leicester to cover assigned clients in this region.
Please note that travel across the whole of the UK will be required. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who's keen to join and grow within a global leading manufacturer.
What you’ll do:
* Commission all aspects of the emergency lighting systems, ensuring that the system complies with the relevant British Standards
* Carry out routine maintenance of emergency lighting systems
* Conduct fault diagnosis on emergency lighting systems and understand the results so that correct rectification work can be identified and completed
* Jobs will be assigned to you and completed in a timely manner with detailed reports provided to document the work completed and any relevant recommendations
* Customer liaison will be essential to the role so good communication skills are required
Qualifications:
* Qualified Electrician (C&G or NVQ minimum)
Skills:
* A good understanding of BS5266
* Willing to travel across the UK and stay overnight up to a week at a time
* Excellent customer service skills
* Microsoft packages, Outlook, Excel, Word.
* Good listening, Influencing and communication skills
