About You You are someone who: Enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen Stays calm and focused, even when it is busy Works with care, accuracy, and attention to detail Is positive, respectful, and supportive to other chefs Can adapt to change while keeping high standards Enjoys learning and improving your skills Likes working as part of a team and thinking “we”, not “me” Is interested in food and open to learning about our Danish and Japanese roots. Your Role as Sous Chef When you are on shift, you are responsible for the kitchen. This includes: Preparing food and ensuring high quality at all times Making excellent sushi and kushiyaki sticks Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and safe Following food safety and hygiene standards Helping to control food costs and reduce waste Supporting and guiding other chefs on shift Making sure every guest receives a great plate of food, every time You will work closely with the Head Chef and be an important part of the leadership team.
