About the Role:
As a Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in the production process, operating a variety of manual and CNC machinery, including lathes and drill presses. You'll be responsible for setting up machines, reading and interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring the quality of all products. This is a hands-on, technical role that requires a high level of precision and focus.
Main Activities:
* Operate manual and CNC-based machinery including lathes and drill presses.
* Read engineering drawings and make machine adjustments as required.
* Band, palletise, and prepare products for loading.
* Follow material processing requirements and tolerances.
* Conduct regular quality checks to ensure product standards are met.
* Report machine faults or issues to the supervisor.
* Operate forklifts to load and off-load machines.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
