Job Summary
Red Recruitment are currently on the looking for an experience Industrial Sewing Machinist on a temporary to permanent basis, based in the Redditch area. This will be a 12 week temporary period with potential of going into a permanent placement.
Duties:
* Operate various industrial sewing machines to assemble and finish products according to specifications
* Ensure consistent quality by monitoring stitches, tension, and overall machine performance
* Follow detailed work instructions and production schedules to meet deadlines
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety protocols
* Assist with inventory management by organising materials and supplies in the warehouse
* Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor technical issues
* Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve production processes
Experience needed:
1. Proven experience in sewing, preferably with industrial sewing machines
2. Warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
