Our client, an established business within the construction industry, is looking for a Project Assistant to join their Operations Team in supporting House Build projects.
* The starting salary is £26,000-£28,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
* Location: Based in Avonmouth, Bristol - Office-based role
* Full-time hours working Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

The Project Assistant role:
This is an administrative-focused role supporting the Operations Manager in planning and organizing short projects, typically lasting 2-4 weeks within the construction industry. The role involves ensuring health and safety standards are met, and supporting with material and labor requirements to ensure smooth project execution.
Main Duties include:
* Managing the day-to-day running of remedial tasks, including admin tasks such as booking works, data entry, creating 'GoFormz', and invoicing upon completion.
* Organizing and managing in-house labor and subcontractors as directed by the Operations Manager.
* Ensuring all necessary paperwork is received and preparing contract files for finance and invoicing.
* Collating site documents before and after installation.
* Supporting the Operations Manager to deliver projects within budget, maintaining a running cost sheet for each contract.
* Handling phone calls from sales, sites, and customers.
* Managing the customer care inbox.
The ideal candidate:
* Has previous experience working on projects, ideally within the construction/property sector.
* Possesses a sound commercial approach to problem-solving.
* Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Has strong IT skills; experience with Sage and Act is advantageous.
* Possesses a driving license (advantageous).
