An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Payroll Manager to join a growing and dynamic organisation who will soon be expanding. They will be brought in to help shape, stabilise, and manage complex payroll operations through this period of exciting change.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end payroll for a growing headcount of 1,000+ employees
* Lead and develop a team of 3 payroll specialists
* Oversee complex payroll structures, including, variable commissions and bonuses (sales-led structure) and multiple pension schemes, benefits packages, and car allowances
* Maintain full payroll compliance across multiple entities
* Provide strategic payroll insight and support wider business integration plans
* Ensure smooth transition and harmonisation of payroll processes during group changes
* Work collaboratively with HR and finance to support operational efficiency
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Proven experience in managing end-to-end payroll in-house (not outsourced)
* Experience working with sales organisations and commission-heavy payrolls
* Strong exposure to mergers, acquisitions, and group structures
* Comfortable operating in corporate environments and change-led settings
* Familiarity with IRIS and/or Cascade systems is preferred
* Confident team manager and people leader
Hybrid: 3 days based in the office
Salary: £50-60k
