Social Work Adult Services in Falkirk is seeking to recruit a social worker to the East Locality assessment and care planning team.
You will contribute to our vision of enabling adults to live full and positive lives within supportive and inclusive communities. You will undertake outcomes focussed assessments and reviews in collaboration with service users and carers including risk assessment. You will participate in duty systems and rotas relevant to your team and the service. Along with colleagues, you will be expected to contribute to the development of innovative ways of working which will enable Falkirk citizens to have access to information, support and services within their communities.
Experience of working in a community social care or health setting and knowledge of Community Care Legislation are essential. Experience of delivering a duty system, excellent risk management skills and good interpersonal skills are desirable, as is a strong commitment to multi-agency working.

You must be a Social Worker with a DipSW, CSS, or CQSW and registration with SSSC is essential.
You must have the ability to be mobile across the Falkirk Council area.
This post is a permanent full-time, 37 hours per week post, but applications from those who wish to work part-time will also be considered.
