To support its growing student population, the school of Economics at the university of Surrey would like to appoint three Lecturers (teaching focused) on a fixed term (7 months) and part time (0.3 FTE) contract. The successful candidates will contribute to our teaching activities and will undertake administrative duties related to their teaching assignments, and to the wider teaching activities of the School of Economics. The posts will commence on 5 January 2026 and will end on 31 July 2026.
We encourage applications from candidates with teaching experience in any area of Economics. Candidates should hold, or be in the process of completing, a PhD in Economics or related field and should have previous experience of teaching economics in a university setting or similar environment. Resourcefulness, enthusiasm and demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues and to work as part of a supportive team are important traits of the successful candidates.
