Kenect Recruitment are currently recruiting for a HR and Payments Administrator to work on an ongoing basis in the Burton area
Job Title: HR and Payments Administrator
Hours: 09:00am : 17:00pm (37hrs a week)
Shift: Monday to Friday
Pay: GBP12.45ph (GBP12.83ph after 12 weeks)
Location: Burton on Trent
Start Date: ASAP
What will I be doing?
* Manage the HR Inbox on behalf of the wider team, answering any queries possible and allocating others to the correct team member for response/resolution.
* Filing of paperwork (both electronically and hard copy)
* Respond to telephone/email enquiries.
* Such other duties as may reasonably be required within the team (HR, OD and Payments) which
* are within the post holders capability and grade.
* Assist with recruitment of staff using their recruitment portal.
* Assist with pre:employment screening for prospective new employees.
* Process eye test claims and update records.
* Leading the engagement plan and supporting activities throughout the year.
* Monitoring absence and case work for long term sick colleagues, engaging with welfare meetings and occupational health where required.
* Engaging with our on:site union representatives, supporting in meetings and helping to maintain our relationship.
* Supporting our Payroll Controller to ensure the accurate and timely administration of the monthly payroll and annual pay reviews.
* Assistance with processing invoices including:
* Sort, scan, index and register invoices in the payments section;
* Print off invoices and cheque/bacs requests from e:payments and payments
What do I need to know?
* Previous experience within HR and (or) Payroll
* Ability to work flexibly, providing occasional cover across shift patterns
* Ability to plan and prioritise workload, working under pressure to tight deadlines.
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
