Pertemps are recruiting forHGV Class 1 Tanker Driversfor BOC, one of the most prestigious Gas companies in the UK.
As the HGV Class 1 Tanker Driver you will be:
* Delivering product to internal and external customers
o Filling and analysing own tankers and high-pressure trailers
o Carrying out minor repairs to vehicles using minimal tools such as screwdrivers and spanners
o Coupling and uncoupling of motive units, towing vehicles from tankers & trailers
o Regularly working away from base, including overnight working
To be successful as the HGV Class 1 Tanker Driver you will:
* Be able to work as part of a team
o Be prepared to carry out trunking or same day return to depot routes
o Be able to interact with internal and external customers
o Have a high level of Safety Awareness
o Have possessed an HGV C+E licence for a minimum of 3 years with a minimum of 180 days experience within the last two years
o Possession of DQC (Drivers CPC)
o Have no more than 3 penalty points on your driving licence
o Be able to demonstrate experience of tanker driving
o Have an ADR 'Class 2' entitlement in tanks
o Have a good understanding of EU and WTD tachograph legislation
o Have a high level of personal Integrity
More about the role:
* Monday to Friday with opportunity of weekend work
o Paid breaks
o Days - Approximate start 06:00am
o Nights - Approximate start 18:00pm start
o Shift length 10-12 hours (average)
o Attractive allowances for weekends, bank holidays, nights out and several other scenarios
o This is an ongoing, full-time role with Pertemps which can lead to a permanent contract with BOC.
o These positions are available with an immediate start, following a face-to-face interview, driving assessment, criminal record check and drug & alcohol test/medical assessment.
