SEND Teaching Assistant – Guaranteed Work Agreement – South Shields – From £89 per day
If you’re a SEND TA who wants consistency, this GWA role in South Shields gives you guaranteed income and regular SEND placements in welcoming, supportive schools.
You’ll be working with pupils who benefit from clear routines, patient adults and emotional reassurance.
Your day may include:
• Supporting learners with ASC, ADHD or social communication needs
• Helping pupils manage sensory input and transitions
• Encouraging independence through small, achievable steps
• Working closely with teachers and SENCOs
We’re looking for:
• A calm, caring SEND TA with some classroom experience
• Someone confident supporting autism and communication needs
• Reliability and the ability to travel locally
• A positive attitude and a love of helping children grow

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
