We are looking for a female care assistant in the BALLYMONEY/KILREA AREA with access to a car to work part‑time. These shifts will be Mon‑Fri, 7am to 2pm.
Experience & Qualifications
* Previous care experience is helpful but not essential as full training is provided.
* Strong spoken and written English to follow care plans and communicate effectively.
* A full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including alternate weekends.
* Access NI enhanced disclosure check will be performed for the post. We adhere to the Access NI code of practice.
* A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from obtaining this position.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
* Support with daily living activities: bathing, dressing, grooming and toilet.
* Assist with mobility and safe transfers in and out of beds etc.
* Use of mobility aids when required.
* Assist with medication: administration or reminders as prescribed.
* Support with feeding, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
* Offer companionship.
* Encourage social interaction and help clients stay connected with loved ones.
* Provide reassurance and emotional wellbeing.
* Help with light household tasks including cleaning, laundry and meal prep.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
* Record and report changes in health, mood, or behaviour.
* Communicate clearly with family members, healthcare professionals, and other team members.
* Empower individuals to make choices and decisions about their care.
* Ensure clients rights and dignity are upheld at all times.
