Imagine what we could do for your career? We are looking for a Trainee Accountant to join our London and the South East Head Office based in Slough. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:00 Salary: £28,000 As part of our commitment to world-class customer service and smarter mobility solutions, we’re seeking a Trainee Accountant to join our dynamic Business Management team based in Slough. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with early industry experience who’s looking to earn while they learn and climb the career ladder. This is an outstanding opportunity to achieve continued growth and success within the Accounting arena and a unique opportunity to quickly progress within the company. In this position you will be involved in the preparation and review of financial statement, assisting with tasks within the department and be involved in business partnering, providing support to stakeholders both within the head office and rental branches. Working to tight deadlines and a fanatical attention to detail are a must for someone to be successful in this role. You will be involved with the day-to-day administrative duties within Business Management and by doing so, adding value to the business. Your responsibilities will involve accounts payable, reporting for all departments, ad hoc billing queries and assisting the department in their day-to-day duties. This role provides an opportunity for the right candidate to progress within the Business Management Department with a focused training file that allows for multiple levels of development to continue progression not only within the Southeast but within UK and Ireland with future potential to study towards ACCA/CIMA professional qualification. Processing and analysing travel and reimbursement expenditure Approving facilities orders on the online booking system Assist in evaluation of internal controls and financial statement compliance Assisting accounts payable with processing invoices Processing direct debits and recording payments Producing daily, weekly and monthly reports for senior management and internal stakeholders Assisting accounts receivables with statement of accounts Additional ad hoc tasks/duties when required by senior management A full driving licence is required for this position due to visiting rental branches on occassion Excellent problem solving, communication and time management skills Detail orientation and strong work ethic Ability to meet deadlines and think independently Ability to multi-task and balance challenging workloads Ability to ‘think outside the box’ and a willingness to question current practices A proficient understand of computer skills, with Microsoft Excel being the priority Finance related degree &/or industry experience You should also know that: Regardless of your socio-economic and educational background, Enterprise will always look at how you perform against our competencies and will judge you on that alone.
