Product Designer – Full-Time | Permanent
Are you a creative and technically skilled Product Designer looking to bring ideas to life from concept through to production? We are seeking a motivated individual to join a forward-thinking design team focused on developing innovative, high-quality products for global markets.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of product development, transforming ideas into manufacturable solutions. You’ll work across the full design lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging directly with customers to ensure products meet real-world needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop product concepts from initial idea through to production
* Create sketches, 3D CAD models, and detailed engineering drawings
* Build and test prototypes to refine designs
* Conduct market research and gather customer insights
* Visit clients to understand user needs and collect feedback
* Apply knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
* Participate in tooling trials and product evaluations
* Ensure designs meet quality, durability, and performance standards
* Collaborate with wider teams to support product launches globally
What We’re Looking For
* Degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field (minimum 2:1)
* Strong understanding of product design and development
* Proficiency in CAD software (ideally SolidWorks)
* Creative mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
* Practical experience in prototyping and model making
* Knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods
* Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desirable
* Experience within industrial or manufacturing environments
* Knowledge of plastics, metals, or other production processes

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (flexible working available)
