Vanrath is bringing an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Sales Manager (Account Executive) to join a fast-growing IT company headquartered in Belfast (the role is highly remote with the meet up, therefore you will ideally be located in Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and developing the sales function, managing a team of Business Development Representative (BDRs), and driving new business growth across key sectors. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Development Representatives, setting clear performance targets and KPIs. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive lead generation, conversion, and revenue growth. Support the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through to qualification and handover to senior sales or account management teams. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging, outreach Monitor sales metrics and pipeline performance, providing regular reporting and insight to senior management. Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency and conversion rates. Recruit, train, and onboard new team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and success. Essential Criteria Proven experience in a sales leadership or team management role within SaaS/technology. Strong understanding of outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and pipeline management. Excellent communication, coaching, and motivational skills. Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions to drive performance. A proactive, target-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding commercial goals. Desirable Criteria Experience working with CRM and sales enablement tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar). Background in scaling or developing SDR/BDR teams.
