Location: Plas Cae Crwn Care Home - Shaw healthcare, Park St, Newtown SY16 1EW

Salary: £14.04 per hour

Hours: 42 hour contract

Shift Times: 07:45 - 20:15

Role Overview

Shaw healthcare is looking for a Senior Support Worker to join the team at Plas Cae Crwn. The role involves delivering high standard care to service users, using the latest care technology to support their well‑being.

Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with residents, families and colleagues, ensuring families and friends feel welcomed, keeping healthcare professionals informed, and reporting to the Line Manager on residents’ needs and progress. Follow guidelines and policies, and write care plans as required.

Qualifications

Previous experience working with older people in residential care. Flexible, patient, caring, organised and strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Completion or working towards a QCF3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
