Emergency Department Clinical Educator, Band 6
Job Overview
Lead clinical education and coordinate the development and delivery of resuscitation and clinical training within the emergency department, ensuring responsiveness to the trust's needs. Act as a specialist adviser in resuscitation and emergency care, deliver patient care, support staff training, and act as a role model and expert practitioner.

Person Specification
Education and Qualifications
* Registered Nurse, Assessor in Emergency Skills, and Tutor qualifications
* Resuscitation Council (UK) ALS Instructor and Director (Adult or Paediatric)/working towards
* ENB 998 or equivalent teaching qualification
* Acute & Critical Care Module or equivalent
* Significant emergency department experience
* Qualified Assessor
* EPALS / APLS / NLS Instructor/Director
* Degree or Master’s in progress
Experience and Knowledge
* Experience in acute healthcare, leadership, and emergency care
* Experience with cardiac arrest/deteriorating patient management
* Teaching experience across staff grades
* Critical care and resuscitation training experience
Skills and Abilities
* IT and numeracy skills
* Effective teaching and communication skills
* Ability to produce educational documentation
* Knowledge of governance and clinical guidelines
* Leadership and motivational skills
* Discretion and professionalism in sensitive situations
Certifications
Must hold appropriate UK professional registration. Post subject to DBS disclosure.
