This is a development role within the Health and Safety Team, supporting the organisation in maintaining its Health and Safety requirements. The post holder must be willing to complete the NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health and to gain a range of Health and Safety Advisor competencies. Once qualified and suitably experienced, the post holder will be eligible to be considered for a Band 6 Health and Safety Advisor role., The post holder will be required to assist with the delivery of health and safety support across all areas of the Trust.
This will include providing support to a range of services and managers to maintain compliance with policies and procedures, undertake incident investigations, and promote a positive health and safety culture.
The post holder will be working in a fast-paced environment that must respond quickly to organisational risks and operational demands. They must be an effective communicator and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
