Reeson Education are partnering with a highly regarded secondary school in Lambeth that provides outstanding, specialised education for pupils with Autism and complex social communication needs, all supported by EHCPs.
The school offers a nurturing learning environment purpose-built for secondary students with Autism and social communication needs, a comprehensive curriculum combining education, therapy, life skills, and enrichment, close partnerships with families and therapists, and a strong focus on wellbeing and inclusion with a positive approach to student impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting secondary students across a range of ages and pathways.
* Working 1:1 and with small groups (6–8 pupils) to help learners with Autism develop communication, independence, and confidence.
* Collaborating effectively with teachers, therapists, and families to create consistent, meaningful progress.
* Bringing creativity, patience, and strong behaviour management into lessons, therapy sessions, and enrichment activities.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), or a strong desire to learn and commitment to training.
* A calm, adaptable approach with genuine empathy for students with Autism and complex needs.
* Team players who can build trust, encouragement, and positivity into each day.
* Commitment to long-term work, with this role running through to the end of the academic year. There will be permanent contracts offered for the right candidate.
