The key areas to prioritise are : - A thorough know of the DfE ’ s Early Years Entitlements – both capital and revenue and how to distribute payments to registered early years providers. Strong partnership working skills, with a positive collaborative approach. A sound knowledge of the Synergy system The ability to support and manage a small team ( 4 people) Responsive, proactive and able to work to deadlines Consideration where possible should also be given to the following. A comprehensive Early Years operational knowledge and experience of best practice from other LAs.
