Ecommerce Executive

Base pay range
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 p.a. + bonus
Fixed term contract for 6 months
About The Role
This role will support significant web projects and will report to the Ecommerce Manager. Your primary focus will be to deliver continuous improvements across two exceptional brands – Inghams and Santa’s Lapland. You will have a proactive and positive attitude as you support the development roadmap of our websites, with an enhanced focus on CRO, UX analysis and A/B testing.
Key Responsibilities
* Online Promotions and Merchandising: Collaborate with product, content, and brand teams to execute promotional campaigns and product launches that drive commercial results.
* Conversion and User Experience: Implement CRO tests and recommend changes to improve page layouts and merchandising to drive conversion.
* CMS Training: Maintain up-to-date CMS training guides and provide ad-hoc support to the business, championing SEO and UX best practices.
* SEO: Assist the SEO Manager in executing key search engine optimisation initiatives.
* Analysis and Reporting: Monitor customer behaviour to forecast demand, spot opportunities, and optimise merchandising to increase revenue.
Required Qualifications
* Interest in and understanding of the key principles of website merchandising, SEO and CRO.
* Experience in using CMS platforms, ideally Umbraco.
* Basic understanding of HTML and CSS with a keen eye for good design.
* Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure to tight deadlines.
* Experience with analytics and web performance tools such as GA4, Excel, Glassbox and Google Search Console.
