The role

Southern Housing is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Treasury Operations to help shape the financial backbone of our organisation. With a firm grounding in debt management, liquidity control, and financial market expertise, you'll play a vital role in supporting our mission to deliver quality homes and services across the communities we serve.

Reporting directly to the Director of Treasury Operations & Property Information, and managing the Treasury team, you'll take ownership of day to day treasury activities overseeing cash flow, managing our loan book, maintaining robust controls, and preparing insightful committee papers. This is your opportunity to bring your corporate treasury experience into the social housing space, where your impact will reach far beyond the numbers.

Based in Farringdon or Sittingbourne, with flexible hybrid working, this role offers both strategic challenge and meaningful purpose in equal measure.

What you'll need

* Corporate treasury experience in a debt-intensive sector.
* Wholesale financing markets & product knowledge, including some or all of loans, bonds, swaps and ESG-linked financing.
* Experience of managing near-term cash flows including loan drawdowns, rollovers, cash deposits, investment balances and intra-group transactions to ensure funds are readily available to settle liabilities as they fall due
* Social housing or real estate sector experience.
* TMS set-up and procedure manuals authorship / review experience
* Understanding of not-for-profit sector drivers and strategic priorities
* Leadership, relationship-building, stakeholder management, role-modelling aptitude.
