Are you ready to make a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs? We have an exciting opportunity for an SEN Teacher to join a lovely SEN School in West London.
As an SEN Teacher in a Key Stage 3/4 ASC class, you will inspire and nurture young minds daily. You will work in a supportive, inclusive environment where every child's progress is celebrated. This is a full-time role, initially through the agency, with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent position.
Responsibilities of an SEN Teacher:
1. Create and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual student needs.
2. Develop engaging teaching methods to encourage active participation.
3. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment promoting emotional and academic growth.
4. Collaborate with professionals like speech therapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists for holistic support.
5. Assess and track student progress, adapting strategies for development.
6. Implement IEPs and behaviour management strategies for students with additional needs.
7. Communicate regularly with parents and carers about student progress.
8. Participate in staff meetings, training, and parent evenings to support school development.
