Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant/Support Workers to join our team in Colchester, Chelmsford and Braintree. The successful candidate will be required to provide quality care to the clients in line with their assessed needs, ensuring their well-being and daily needs are met. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the individuals.
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
* Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure personalised care.
* Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Document and report daily task notes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
* Support to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
* Engage in social activities and promote their independence and dignity.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential.
* Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
* A valid driving licence is preferred but not necessary for transporting clients when required.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
* A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others and improve their quality of life.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 28 per week
