SEN Teacher (ASD Specialist) – Temporary Role - Epsom, Surrey
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist ASD centre on a temporary basis.
Start Date: From approximately 22nd April
Duration: 6–12 weeks
Key Stage: KS2
The successful candidate will be responsible for a KS2 class of 8 pupils, supported by a team of 3 Teaching Assistants. Pupils have a range of needs, and the role requires a confident practitioner who can effectively lead the classroom and support staff.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience working with pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
* Strong knowledge and practical experience of positive behaviour support strategies
* Ability to lead and manage a small team of Teaching Assistants
* A flexible, patient, and proactive approach to teaching and learning
* Experience within a KS2 setting is desirable
