Groundworks Gang - Deep Drainage (New Build Housing)
Location: Cockermouth
Job Type: Temporary - 20 weeks
Job Overview
We are currently recruiting an experienced Groundworks Gang for ongoing works on a new build housing development. The gang must have strong experience in deep drainage and sewer installation, working to programme and maintaining high safety standards.
This is long-term work for the right team.
Scope of Works
1. Deep drainage installation (2.5m - 5m depths)
2. Road and plot drainage
3. Installation of:
1200mm Concrete Pipe
155mm Clay Pipe
225mm Clay Pipe
4. Working to drawings and levels
5. Trench support and safe excavation practices
6. Manhole covers
Gang Requirements
The gang must consist of:
7. Ganger - SSSTS (essential)
8. 360 Excavator Operator - CPCS or NPORS
9. Groundworker - Medium Risk Confined Space (essential)
Essential Requirements
10. Proven experience in deep drainage (2.5m-5m)
11. Valid CSCS / CPCS / NPORS cards
12. Experience laying concrete and clay pipework
13. Strong understanding of health & safety
14. Own PPE
15. Reliable and able to work to programme
