We are a small but well-established UK-based e-commerce business seeking a flexible, proactive team member to join our growing company.
This unique hybrid role combines customer service (email and live chat) with hands-on warehouse duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly.
We're looking for someone reliable, organised, and genuinely passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences while also helping to keep our warehouse efficient and well-organised.
This is a part-time position with the potential to grow over time for the right person.
What You'll Do:
Customer Service Responsibilities
* Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries via email and live chat.
* Provide clear, friendly, and solution-focused support for inquiries such as order tracking, returns, and product information.
* Identify recurring customer issues and suggest improvements to streamline service.
* Work collaboratively with our small team to continually improve our customer experience.
Warehouse Responsibilities
* Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for timely shipping.
* Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
* Load and unload deliveries, ensuring products are handled with care.
* Use a warehouse management system (WMS) such as Veeqo to track stock and manage inventory levels.
* Maintain an organised and tidy warehouse environment.
* Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies.
* Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
What We're Looking For
* Excellent written English – grammar, tone, and clarity matter.
* Previous e-commerce customer support experience (Shopify experience is a plus).
* Prior warehouse experience, with knowledge of order fulfillment processes.
* Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new systems and tools.
* Highly reliable and punctual – when you commit, you deliver.
* A positive, calm attitude – especially when under pressure.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
* Comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and stocking goods.
* Mechanical or construction knowledge is a bonus.
* Flexibility to work within UK hours (8AM–6PM) and overlap with our core team's schedule.
