Patient Safety, Clinical Governance and Risk Assistant Facilitator

This exciting opportunity allows you to join the Patient Safety, Clinical Governance & Risk Management Team as a Patient Safety, Clinical Governance & Risk Assistant Facilitator. The team provides advice, support and facilitation to staff across NHS Tayside to improve quality and safety of services, and works closely with Health & Social Care Partnerships and Clinical Care Groups.
Knowledge of patient safety, clinical governance, quality improvement and risk management are required, as well as a good understanding of healthcare. The successful applicant should have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, and be able to prioritise work appropriately within a busy team working towards tight deadlines. An understanding of quality improvement methodology would be helpful.
You will need competence in data analysis skills to support services with patient safety and clinical governance activities, and you should hold a degree level qualification or equivalent experience.
* You will be required to achieve the mandatory induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
* You may be required to travel across NHS Tayside.
Hours of work are 37 hours per week.
