Our client is on the lookout for Class 2 HGV Drivers to join their dedicated Collect & Deliver (C&D) team. You’ll be hitting familiar routes with a modern vehicle, electric pallet truck at your side, and a great support team behind you.
* Carrying out local Collect & Deliver duties with palletised freight
* Driving the same vehicle and familiar routes—consistency you can count on
* Supporting additional distribution and roadshow work when needed (paid extras!)
* Working with electric pallet trucks, but occasional manual handling may be required
* Keeping your vehicle and yourself looking professional and road-ready
* Being the friendly face of the company for customers and partners
What You Bring to the Role:
* A valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence and CPC qualification
* At least 12 months’ Class 2 driving experience
* Confidence working independently and managing your route
* Willingness to drive a range of vehicles (from 3.5t to 18t)
* Great people skills – polite, friendly, and customer-focused
* Monday to Friday, 45 hours/week
* Between 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (with 1-hour lunch)
* Contracted Overtime Includes: Saturday mornings (7 AM – 1 PM, once a month – paid!)
* Magazine & Tactical Shifts (once a month – paid + £1,200/year allowance)
* Magazine Shift involves going further afield delivering to merchandisers, nights out may be required (once a month) – Approximately 12 drops
