Quantity Surveyor – Defence
£60,000 - £65,000
Car allowance - £4,500

Permanent, Full Time (40 hours, Monday–Friday)
We’re looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join a Defence contract, delivering infrastructure, asset and facilities management services within the UK Defence sector. This role is ideal for someone with strong commercial expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage projects with professionalism and integrity.
Key Requirements
* DV Clearance (or have held within the last 12 months) High Level Security Clearance
* Relevant degree or equivalent qualification
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of NRM submissions and pricing
What You’ll Be Doing
* Manage the commercial and financial aspects of assigned projects in line with best practice and standards
* Provide accurate, timely commercial deliverables and clear reporting on project performance
* Carry out site visits and liaise with clients to review requirements
* Prepare, evaluate and submit robust ROC’s, cost options and tender packages
* Oversee risk management, ensuring risk registers are developed, monitored and maintained
* Select, evaluate and manage supply chain partners in line with contract strategy
* Support project teams with commercial advice, guidance and direction
* Ensure delivery teams are fully briefed on project scope, programme and best value strategy
