The client is a leading global provider of Satellite Communications and IT Support services for the Government, Maritime, and Defence sectors. They are now seeking a NavCom Project Coordinator to join their growing projects team based in Redhill.
Main Purpose of the Role:
* Provide coordination and administrative support for navigation and communication (NavCom) installation and upgrade projects.
* Ensure the smooth planning, scheduling, and execution of maritime projects, supporting engineers, project managers, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with planning and scheduling of multiple NavCom installation projects.
* Coordinate logistics, materials procurement, and equipment deliveries to meet project deadlines.
* Maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and records.
* Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services and equipment.
* Support project managers with financial tracking, reporting, and invoicing.
* Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and highlight potential risks or delays.
* Maintain communication with customers, providing updates and addressing queries.
* Ensure compliance with internal processes, health & safety regulations, and customer requirements.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of project coordination processes and procedures.
What They Are Looking For:
* Previous experience in project coordination or project administration, ideally within engineering, telecommunications, defence, or maritime sectors.
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Proficiency in standard office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, project tracking tools).
* Strong attention to detail with accurate record keeping and reporting.
* Customer-focused mindset with a proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach.
* Knowledge of NavCom, satellite communications, or marine electronics would be advantageous.
