Job Purpose: To service clients through client management, journalist management and fulfilment, helping to ensure that we retain existing clients and acquire new ones.
Reporting to:CEO, Debbie Staveley
Hybrid: 4-days a week in the office

This role will be ideal for a person who has boundless energy, who can think on their feet and is bursting with ideas and ambition.
You will have the opportunity to take this role and expand it, limited only by your own ambition, but you will also be used to working to the very highest standards and principles.
This is an exciting and fast paced agency so you will need to deal well with pressure. You will understand from your previous PR experience that you may have to change your plans for the day at a moment’s notice in line with the needs of a client or the news agenda.
You will be a people person, who loves making friends with clients, journalists and those around you. You may have worked as a journalist as well as in PR and will be used to the cut and thrust of a newsroom and will have a passion for writing well and delivering captivating copy that inspires people to want to take action.

Key Responsibilities
1.To look after and add value to bClear’s clients in a way that means you will:
* Deliver on the PR and wider communications strategies put in place for each client
* Help each client to achieve its company objectives through targeted online and offline communication across traditional and social media channels
* Identify and target key media outlets and create a close working relationship with the relevant journalists
* Develop inspirational and effective ideas to achieve client coverage
* Constantly identify and develop new opportunities for coverage to get clients in front of their key audiences, using language and messages that inspire those audiences to engage and take action with the client
* Craft well-written, well-targeted and captivating press releases, articles, comment pieces and social media content and get them placed in relevant on and offline media
* Meet and speak regularly with clients to fully understand what is happening in their company and elicit feedback as to how the client feels bClear is doing.From these meetings create monthly PR plans, feed in ideas and ensure that the client is happy.
* Keep abreast of social media developments and how we can use social media to help our clients
2.Find other ways of adding value and ensuring that the client’s communication is consistent and effective including:
* Write winning award entries
* Rewrite websites
* Writing direct communication to customers and prospective customers
* Help with presentations
* Help to organise appropriate events and exhibitions
3.Be alert to issues within a client organisation and help to develop an issues management plan to avoid or mitigate against negative stories.
4.Keep up-to-date with other information to ensure that you are at the top of your game PR wise. This may include regularly reading PR news stories or other information to keep abreast of ideas. Additional training, mentoring support will be provided both internally and externally.
5.Contribute to the growth of bClear by suggestions and creative ideas to help to grow and improve the agency, helping to ensure that we never lose a client and helping the agency to attract and win new clients.
