Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint two, full time, Supported Internship Coordinators. The coordinator is required to coordinate, plan and implement the Supported Internship Programme off-site with one day working at our Warrington Campus. The role involves supporting interns with a range of additional needs in the workplace, facilitating work-based learning, leading to employment. You will manage the programme operations, support the job coach and liaise with internal departmental managers to secure and maintain suitable placements.

Please be advised, these roles are fixed term until July 2027.

Suitable candidates should have GCSES in Maths and English at Grade 4 or above, or equivalent, and a relevant Level 3 qualification. Candidates should have experience of working with people with learning disabilities, risk assessments, job coaching, and working and successfully dealing with employers. In addition, candidates should have the ability to communicate effectively, to show empathy and understanding, and to promote and work towards independence amongst the user group.
