Role Overview
As a Senior Clinical Support Worker (Band 3), you will deliver compassionate care, support patients and work as part of a wider team to deliver an excellent patient experience.
Key responsibilities
* Deliver patient care and support across ward or department.
* Assist with assessment, documentation and learning new skills.
* Contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Qualifications & Conditions of Employment
Essential for Band 3:
* GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English (current grade 4 / C or Level 2 functional skills).
* Full Care Certificate – practical and theoretical sign off by an employer (Online only certificates will NOT be accepted).
* NVQ Level 3 Award in Health and Social Care (must be accredited by a regulated awarding body).
* Hold a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care but not a Care Certificate – must complete the National Care Certificate within 3 months of commencing employment.
Prior to shortlisting you will be required to email evidence of the above qualifications by the given deadline. Failure to provide required evidence will result in rejection of the application.
Person Specification
* 12 months experience in a professional contract as a Healthcare Assistant or equivalent.
* GCSE or equivalent for Maths and English (current Level 4 / C or Level 2 functional skills).
* Completed Care Certificate – with practical element.
* General Care and enthusiasm in application.
