I am currently working with a Utilities Client on an exciting Programme Delivery Manager opportunity. This is a permanent role requiring 3 days a week in their Windsor offices. The role involves building strong relationships with business leaders and tech teams, managing risks, and aligning with the client's strategic goals.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Manage the delivery of the programme or portfolio, ensuring that all associated projects deliver their outcomes for the business.
2. Prioritise and manage competing objectives, inter-dependencies, and risks to safeguard overall programme or portfolio delivery.
3. Embed change effectively through communication, stakeholder engagement, and benefit realization.
4. Work with stakeholders to define scope and goals.
5. Coach and motivate your team.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. Strong ability to identify and manage competing priorities across a wide range of programme or portfolio activities.
2. Excellent stakeholder management skills and a strong ability to drive engagement at a leadership level.
3. Great leadership and communication skills.
4. Experience managing multi-million pound budgets and working with vendors.
5. Commercial and strategic awareness.
6. Experience leading teams across departments.
7. Ideally, utilities or telecommunications experience.
8. Good knowledge of programme and project methodologies (Waterfall & Agile).
