Interim Ministry Support Officer
Part Time: hours per week.
This is an interim, fixed-term post for a period of 9 months.
Actual salary for working hours per week: £13, - £13,597
The Diocese of Chester is seeking to recruit an Interim Ministry Support Officer, to cover the secondment of a key staff member for a period of 9 months. The post holder will:
* Provide support to the Diocesan Ministry Team, focusing on Initial Ministerial Training Phase 2 (IME 2) and support for those moving into Posts of First Responsibility.
* Administer and oversee the training program for all curates in their first three years, including organizing end-of-year reports and the Assessment at End of Curacy process.
* Ensure consistent pastoral care for all involved in IME2 and First Posts, aiming to make the process positive for everyone.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, be committed to collaborative ministry, and work well within a motivated team. They should have experience in detailed planning, organization, and meeting deadlines.
