Job Description
Payroll Senior
7. Manage and oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
8. Supervise a small team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficiency in payroll operations.
9. Collaborate with the accounting and finance department to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation.
10. Maintain and update payroll systems and records to reflect current employee information and legislative changes.
11. Handle payroll queries and provide timely resolutions to employee concerns.
12. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including tax and pension contributions.
13. Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to relevant stakeholders.
14. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Senior should have:
15. A strong background in payroll management (team lead responsibility) as well as end to end processing
16. Proficiency in payroll systems and software.
17. Knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
