Job Overview
We are currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic person to join a fantastic company based in Lye. The successful candidate will be polite, efficient, and will have excellent telephone manners when speaking to customers.
Typical Work Activities
1. Quoting customers for standard products featured in the product catalogue.
2. Collaborating with production to quote bespoke products and coordinate projects for tailor-made items to meet specific customer requirements.
3. Building strong relationships with customers to increase business levels.
4. Inputting orders into the computer systems accurately to ensure correct manufacturing. Incorrect specifications can lead to costly mistakes.
5. Following up on previously quoted orders to establish progress.
6. Maintaining and monitoring the production schedule to prevent under or over-scheduling.
7. Preparing weekly KPIs for the Sales Director.
8. Managing larger customer accounts, handling all requirements and customer service issues.
Candidate Requirements
* Polite, organized, assertive, with previous sales and customer service experience, including handling difficult customers.
* Articulate, well-organized, with effective time management skills.
* A good team player who encourages cooperation across departments.
