Job Scope:
We’re seeking a European Compliance & Privacy Specialist to lead trade compliance, regulatory governance, and data privacy across Europe and the Middle East. You'll embed regulatory standards into daily operations, collaborate with teams across the business, and ensure we remain audit‑ready. Occasional regional travel required.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance & Governance
* Serve as the regional expert for compliance and privacy.
* Maintain and improve compliance processes aligned with global standards.
* Support global initiatives with regional insights.
* Review contracts for regulatory and technical compliance.
Trade & Regulatory Compliance
* Ensure import/export activities comply with EU and EMEA trade laws.
* Manage export licences and related documentation.
* Advise on Incoterms, HS/HTS codes, tariffs, and delivery terms.
* Maintain policies, procedures, and audit readiness across the supply chain.
Privacy & Data Protection
* Support the global privacy program, including training and awareness.
* Maintain the regional privacy framework and ensure regulatory alignment.
* Coordinate data breach responses and corrective actions.
* Prepare PIAs/DPIAs, manage RoPA, DSARs, and embed privacy‑by‑design.
What We’re Looking For:
* Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc) or higher.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in trade compliance, data privacy, or risk management within a regulated environment.
* Strong working knowledge of GDPR, EU trade regulations, and compliance frameworks.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with strong organisational and project management skills.
* High ethical standards, strong attention to detail, and a practical, solution‑focused mindset.
* Experience working with cross‑border stakeholders and supporting audits is an advantage.
