Job Title: Project Manager / Construction Project Manager (Industrial) About the Role: Our client are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major new build industrial project valued at £9 million. This is a pivotal role within their growing construction team, offering the opportunity to manage a high-profile scheme from pre-construction through to practical completion. Key Responsibilities: Manage all phases of the project lifecycle including planning, design coordination, procurement, construction, and handover. Lead site teams and subcontractors to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Oversee health & safety compliance and implement best practices across the site. Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain clear communication and foster positive relationships. Track progress, manage risks, and produce regular reports for senior management. Requirements: Proven experience delivering industrial or commercial new builds (e.g., warehouses, logistics centers, manufacturing facilities) would be beneficial but not essential. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and project controls. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND or Degree in Construction Management or related field). SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), and First Aid certification. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asta Powerproject) is desirable.
