GSL Education are delighted to recruit an RE Teacher to schools in the Rotherham (S65, S66) area, delivering engaging lessons that develop pupils’ knowledge of religious studies and their ability to reflect critically on moral and cultural issues. In this role, the Religious Education (RE) Teacher will plan and deliver lessons that encourage curiosity, respect, and analytical thinking, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Main Duties of RE Teacher: Plan and deliver well-structured RE lessons in line with the curriculum. Encourage pupils to explore and discuss ethical, moral, and cultural topics. Maintain a positive, focused, and inclusive learning environment. Assess pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school objectives. Essential Requirements: Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching RE in a school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners of all abilities. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
