Overview
We are seeking Service Engineers to service Fire Alarm Systems in the South West London area for Johnson Controls. The role focuses on servicing Fire Alarm Systems to industry standards and delivering exceptional customer service. This is a time-served engineering position within a high-performing team, supporting the wider team as required.
What You Will Do
* Provide excellent customer service to exceed the expectations of internal and external customers and maintain effective relationships.
* Service appropriate devices, work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, property damage, and loss of materials.
* Manage time efficiently and prioritise jobs appropriately.
* Complete engineer work reports or checklists accurately.
What We Look For
* Experience in the Fire industry with knowledge of repair and maintenance of large systems.
* Expert knowledge of mainstream and top-end Fire, Gas and Aspiration systems.
* Working knowledge of industry standards and a logical approach to troubleshooting with good computer skills.
* Previous experience in a customer-facing environment.
* Full clean driving licence.
* Ability to lift and climb ladders and be comfortable working at height.
Preferred qualifications: Hold current relevant qualifications to the industry (e.g., 18th edition, NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC, FIA).
