Unit & Position Role The Training Management Group is a joint RN-industry organisation, providing the basis of a Whole Force approach to RN individual training delivery. The TMG is accountable for the effective and efficient governance, control and commercial delivery of the Selborne contract. Responsibilities Act as the primary POC for arranging Warfare (WAR) Apprentice Assessments (AA) between the MIAA and Units. Liaise with and support Training Coordinators and Onboard Assessors in the delivery of all WAR AAs; quality assure and approve all WAR AA outcomes. Grade and approve all Warfare AAs in line with assessment plans and internal quality assurance expectations. Support the development of WAR AAs, including question writing, pilot assessments, and procedure development. Support Team Fisher Programme Facilitators during Apprenticeship Engagement visits to units. Conduct physical IQA observations on 5–10% of all WAR AAs across various locations to ensure assessment validity, fairness, and compliance. Implement and uphold MIAA policies and support development and maintenance of MIAA/AA funding models. Act as the MIAA sponsor of Units identifying opportunities to enhance MIAA processes to benefit Training Coordinators and apprentices. Local Considerations Domestic Away from home at least once per month for Training Establishment visits/AA assurance. Employer Comments Flexible and home working achievable.
